The war has been going on in Ukraine for 8 years. What are the causes and consequences of the Russia's military aggression in Ukraine from the human geography perspective? What is happening in Ukrainian cities during the armed conflict? Why and how do military attacks take place in Ukraine? This seminar will discuss these issues along with Ukraine’s geopolitics, narratives from internally displaced persons (IDP), the weaponisation of media and impacts of ongoing military urbicide perpetrated by Russia in Ukraine.
